Wild Child (We're Old Now)

Brian is my favourite adventure buddy. Everything is just so much fun with him. During this strange time, when you are not really encouraged to leave your home, let alone your province we have been trying to squeeze in some smaller adventures here and there.

A couple weekends ago we headed out to my parents cabin and spent the weekend with them. We took out time driving out there and snapped some photos in my favourite stretch of the drive.

Many many years ago there was a wildfire that went through this area and it is so fun to see how the land has rebounded since then. Little trees make for the best photos.

We used to rent SUVs, drive across the country and sleep in the back. We’d choose where we’d park for the night based on where we wanted to wake up. Now we have jobs that call us back.

But, I know that there will be so many more adventures in our future. I can not wait.
